At Raildiary we exist to accelerate sustainable construction through the consistent capture and analysis of site data. We are the market leader in the capture and productivity analysis of site data in the UK rail industry and beyond. Our platform supports thousands of site teams and billions in infrastructure spending, driving improved outcomes with every shift.

Our story

We've grown into a market leading platform.

Our journey began in 2016 when Will Doyle, an aspiring Quantity Surveyor with Balfour Beatty, became exasperated with the lack of digital solutions to quickly and effectively capture consistent site data to support proactive commercial management of multi-million-pound infrastructure projects.

Will took his idea to an innovative data specialist agency in Manchester where Paul Clegg turned his vision into reality, creating the Sitediary application for mobile and web. In 2018, Paul’s digital agency was subsumed into the Raildiary business and alongside Will, a passionate team focused on delivering a reporting solution made for site has grown into the market leader we are today.
