Schedule Performance Index at Completion (SPIAC)

What is Schedule Performance Index at Completion (SPIAC)? Earned Value Management explained.

Definition:

Schedule Performance Index at Completion (SPIAC) represents the projected efficiency of schedule performance at project completion. It measures the ratio of the earned value (EV) to the planned value (PV) at completion. An SPIAC greater than 1 indicates favorable schedule performance, while a value less than 1 suggests unfavorable performance. SPIAC helps in assessing the overall efficiency of schedule performance.

Calculation: SPIAC = EV / PV
